1. Cut your sheet of paper into a square (about 8½-inch [21.6-cm] square) to make the base of your game. Next, use a lead pencil to mark out 4 (7 × ⅜-inch [17.7 × 1–cm]) strips of white paper, cut out and decorate with hearts (or anything else!). Using a glue stick, glue these onto the square sheet of paper to form a 2 × 2 grid.

2. To make a hug, cut a ⅜ × 4–inch (1 × 10–cm) strip of colored paper. Add a little glue to 1 end and bring the ends together to make a loop (an O). Repeat until you have 5 hugs of the same color.
